How to broadcast films on Public Access Television and its free!!
“America, Israel and Palestine: Cause and Effect”
Film Series for Public Access Television
Get involved! Join our network of sponsors and spread the word
Please consider joining our nationwide network of film sponsors at public/community access television stations (PATS) with the potential of reaching many millions of people who are ignorant of the facts pertaining to the conflict between Israel and Palestine as well as its global implications. The film series, “America, Israel and Palestine: Cause and Effect” is now available for broadcast on Public Access Television Stations (PATS) throughout America. There are roughly 60 different films on 24 DVD’s that are contained in the 23 film titles in the series totaling approximately 50 hours of content and all come with authorization from the producers for airing on PATS. TELEVISION TIME IS FREE AND REACHES SEVERAL MILLION PEOPLE YEARLY!! Some examples of the films: “Occupation 101,” “Life In Occupied Palestine,” “Confronting the Wall,” “Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land,” “Palestine Is Still The Issue,” “This is Not Your War,” “The Loss of Liberty,” “Hijacking Catastrophe,” “Global Warning: An Interview with Mordechai Vanunu” and others. Additional films will be introduced periodically as a means of keeping the series current for many years.
This outreach campaign has no equal. Simply call your local PATS and advise them that you wish to air films on the station (actually, the taxpayers’ TV station). See below to find your local PATS. If there is a problem at any time, simply call or email us for help. Once the films are scheduled with one’s local PATS, schools, churches, libraries, rental stores, business organizations, activist groups and individuals may be notified as a means of involving a much larger audience. Schools and libraries are especially receptive as it presents an opportunity for teachers and others to “safely” educate their students about the conflict. The films deliver an excellent narrative of the conflict between Israel and Palestine and the Zionist influence on America’s politicians. These films are already working with excellent results as they are broadcast frequently for as long as the sponsor(s) is active. Additionally, the sponsors are providing a much-needed community service by supplying an excellent selection of films for their local PATS. Community stations welcome quality films that are educational and informative. Recently, one station offered to show the films repeatedly for the next year and will extend when requested. Several sponsors have created their own programs in addition to airing the series of films.
The FCC prohibits PATS from discussing the content and declining to air these films. To wit, “Government regulations bar stations from exercising any editorial discretion with regard to the programming.”
You and others may help expand the network by contacting us immediately and/or forwarding this email with the attachments to friends in other communities who wish to educate and inform their friends, neighbors and others by becoming sponsors of the series. Over 2,500 PATS in America are currently without sponsors. With your help, we can overcome this obstacle and connect with an audience of millions of misinformed and uninformed viewers/registered voters who can make a difference.
Unlike the PATS, which welcome the film series, virtually all PBS stations, especially KQED in San Francisco, have demonstrated extreme bias favoring Israel and are reluctant to air films that provide honest and balanced information about the conflict. Although this is a problem, sponsors may submit the list of films in the series to their local PBS station and request that they air one or more. Their responses are always interesting, negative and generally without merit. For information about the global effort to have KQED (a PBS station in San Francisco) air just one film, visit www.palkqed.com and www.gisfilms.org.
